2012 Walla Walla Valley Merlot

Winemaker Notes: This powerful red exhibits flavors of cassis, black fruit, and bittersweet chocolate. The flavors linger and are accentuated by firm but nicely integrated tannins. Give it some time to open in your glass or decanter. A perfect example why many people, including us, think Washington leads the pack in producing high quality Merlots suitable for prolonged cellaring. Drink it now with an aged Gouda or creamy Camembert.  It will easily age for 7 to 10 years.
